Love Game, Hate Sound Effects

Let me start by saying I love the game and have purchased all the islands. It provides me the opportunity to mindlessly play when I want to unwind.

What Im really hacked off about are the sound effects. For a very very short span of time they are cute. Then they become unbearable. Prior to the latest update it was easy enough to turn them off. Since the last update even though Ive moved both music and sound effects to the far left the sound effects will not turn off. I have deleted, installed and restored several times now and still get the extremely annoying sound effects. When I wrote to find out what to do to correct this (and I explained what Ive already done), I received a very condescending reply explaining how to move the sound effects button to the far left). Duh! I still have not received a reply to the message I sent them a couple of days ago.

This easily would have been a 5 star review but with this unresolved issue it became a 3. I shouldnt have to silence the ringer on my phone to enjoy the game.
